The type of career wouldn’t be any unusual…if Tao wouldn’t be only 20 years young. And while most of the kids in Taos age might be living with any big future plans, the young Austrian has a clear aim: the Freeride World Tour. Competing in the Qualifier Events the past years, Tao could prove his exceptional skills many times and showed many older riders how its done. After several top results, including two first places in Kappl and Bad Gastein, Tao finished the Austrian Freeride Series first place.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text woodmart_color_scheme=”light”]For the 2017\/2018 season, Tao is on a mission to defend his title as Austrias best freeride skier on the tour. He already did two important steps towards this goal by claiming two 3rd Places in the 4-star event in Les Arcs and Kappl. Many other kids might live up in the hype and success – not Tao. He remains focused and modest. Besides all the Hugh goals he set himself, in the end skiing is all about the special moments on the mountain and sharing them with his friends.
